LEARN MORE ABOUT TRAUMA INFORMED PRACTICES

Meet Carima Nolten

My name is Carima Nolten and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and Coach with a background in education and expertise in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).

I am originally from South Africa but have been living in the UK since 2010. I have over 20 years of experience working across the Corporate, Education and Healthcare sectors, providing me with a wealth of expertise, working with both children and adults of diverse backgrounds, in a variety of settings. I have been fortunate in gaining a sound knowledge of collaborative practice having worked closely with families, school staff and external specialist staff and agencies.

As a Certified Trauma -Informed Coach and Counsellor, I've witnessed the life-changing impact of uncovering hidden trauma and learning to regulate and understand the nervous system. Through my own experiences with trauma and in-depth study, I have come to see how healing these wounds can unlock profound growth and wellbeing. My passion is to spread this knowledge, creating safer, more compassionate spaces where individuals, families, work environments and communities can heal and thrive.
